The Seattle Supersonics shirt in green, gold, and white could hardly be called a historic piece of sports memorabilia. But, it could very well be in the next decade as the team has already been relocated and renamed. The team is now called Oklahoma City Thunder and is no longer using the same team specifications. There is still a supply of the Seattle Supersonics shirt in the market as there are still fans and collectors who are grabbing this team merchandise for their own use or for their collection. NBA accredited merchants are still selling these shirts in home, road, and alternate designs.
The last road shirts that the Seattle Supersonics wore were the deep green shirts with white and gold accents. The word Seattle in dark green is set against a white arch with gold accent across the chest. The home Seattle Supersonics shirt is in the reverse with a green arch printed with the Sonics nameplate across the chest of a white shirt. Their alternate shirt was a gold shirt with a white arch containing the deep green Sonics nameplate. The home and road shirts are trimmed with gold ribbing while the alternate shirts are trimmed with dark green ribbing.
